On November 1, Metaways (Zhejiang Hongxi Technology Co., LTD.), as an "alumni enterprise of Zhejiang University", officially passed the approval of "Qiushi Semiconductor Alliance" and was successfully approved as a member unit of its alliance.
Qiuyuan Semiconductor Alliance is an interdisciplinary global non-profit organization with the vision of promoting cooperation and knowledge sharing in the semiconductor industry. The current chairman of the alliance is Mr. Chen Rongling, former president of Applied Materials China. Founded by alumni of Zhejiang University, the Alliance is headquartered in Shanghai. As of March 31, 2024, the Alliance has 1,675 registered individual members and 283 registered unit members, most of which are leading enterprises and outstanding entrepreneurs in the semiconductor field at home and abroad.
